About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join our team at Bupa. As a key member of our experience design team, you will be responsible for designing and shaping unique, customer-centric experiences from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop user-centered solutions for our digital products, ensuring a seamless experience for customers across products and business units.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a consistent approach to UX and advocate for customer-centric design principles.
  • Contribute to the development of our UX toolkit and playbooks, and help build a reusable framework and templates for other parts of the business.
  • Mentor and coach other designers in the team, helping to shape the product design discipline and promote a culture of psychological safety, celebrating success, and learning from each other.
  • Advocate for the adoption of our Design System, 'Anatomy', and contribute to the community.
  • Create assets for our design system, including documenting UX research and insight to provide rationale for design decisions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in product design, with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and processes.
  • Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to bring stakeholders together and extract information to define a direction.
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment, with a willingness to explore ideas and implement a 'test and learn' approach.
  • Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to influence and encourage stakeholders and peers to adopt and buy into design solutions.
  • Knowledge of our toolkit, including Figma and Progression App.
  • A champion for accessibility, with an understanding of the needs of users with different backgrounds, abilities, cultures, and environments.
