Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students in Early Years by adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • As a Support Assistant, you will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that promote student growth and learning.
  • Build and maintain constructive relationships with the Class Teacher and fellow staff members.
  • Identify and support the unique needs of students requiring additional assistance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Level 2/3 qualification is mandatory.
  • Experience in an Early Years setting within a mainstream educational environment is essential.
  • A nurturing demeanor with the ability to motivate students of varying abilities.
  • Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with Special Educational Needs (SEN), is preferred.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and young people, demonstrating patience and empathy.
