Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract

Hours: 35 hours per week, 8 am - 4 pm

Contract: Full Time, 39 weeks of the year, Term Time Only

Job Summary:

We are seeking a recent graduate to join our team as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will work across all key stages, providing targeted support to low-achieving pupils to enhance their attainment and progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in their learning, promoting inclusion and advancing learning to allow children to make positive progress.
  • Work with individuals and/or small groups of pupils, providing tailored support to meet their needs.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of lessons, as required.

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate with a passion for education and a desire to become a teacher.
  • Ability to inspire, challenge, and motivate students to surpass their expected potential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with pupils, teachers, and other support staff.
  • Enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for a new certificate.
