Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and autonomous midwifery professional to join our team at the Antenatal Clinic in Wrexham Maelor Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and providing total midwifery care to mothers and babies throughout normal pregnancy, labour, and the postnatal period without direct supervision.

The ideal candidate will be an expert in the field of midwifery, able to identify deviations from the norm and refer to other appropriate healthcare professionals as needed.

The successful candidate will work alongside other members of the Midwifery Multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent expert care for women and their families.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be involved in delivering a high standard of evidence-based care during the Antenatal, Intrapartum, and postnatal period.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post, and applications may be submitted in Welsh. Applications submitted in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than an application submitted in English.
