As a key player in our Risk and Controls Self-Assessment (RCSA) program, the Senior Consultant will be instrumental in executing our operational risk management strategy across the organization.
This role requires a profound understanding of risk management principles, particularly within the financial services sector, focusing on RCSA processes and activities.
The successful candidate will:
- Oversee the management of RCSA program deliverables, including action plans and control evaluations.
- Analyze workflows to identify and mitigate risks associated with the program, enhancing the overall control environment.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for the RCSA program.
- Review and ensure the relevance of metrics and scorecards within the KPI/KRI framework.
- Initiate and manage projects aimed at strengthening RCSA program controls.
- Implement effective controls to address process risks.
- Provide support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as necessary.
- Enhance the risk management culture through training and awareness initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior management and business partners to align operational risk management activities.
- Ensure that program processes remain current and compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead projects focused on improving the overall risk management program.
- Communicate identified risks to stakeholders and track remediation efforts to resolution.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Extensive experience in financial services, particularly in operational risk, controls, or audit.
- A solid understanding of audit, risk, and operational management concepts.
- Familiarity with systems such as Fusion and/or Salesforce.
- Experience in conducting regression testing.
