PhD Opportunities in Quantum Computing

We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our team as PhD researchers in Quantum Computing at the National Quantum Computing Centre. Our research focuses on developing cutting-edge quantum software and algorithms for various applications in quantum sciences.

Research Areas
  • Quantum algorithms and programming
  • Quantum machine learning and cryptography
  • Quantum error correction and architecture
  • Topological quantum computing and quantum information
Requirements
  • Strong background in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field
  • Proficiency in English (both oral and written)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What We Offer
  • Full-time PhD tuition fees and a tax-free stipend
  • Research Training and Support Grant (RTSG) for research expenses
  • 8 weeks of paid annual leave and funding for sick leave and parental leave
