Quantum Computing PhD Opportunities

We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our team at the National Quantum Computing Centre as PhD researchers in quantum computing. Our centre is a hub for cutting-edge research and innovation in quantum computing, and we are looking for individuals who share our passion for advancing the field.

About the Role

As a PhD researcher in quantum computing, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team working on various aspects of quantum computing, including quantum software development, quantum information, and mathematical modelling. You will have the opportunity to work with our expert academics and researchers to develop your skills and knowledge in quantum computing and software development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in quantum computing and software development
  • Develop and implement quantum algorithms and software
  • Collaborate with our team of researchers and academics
  • Present research findings at conferences and workshops
Requirements
  • Strong background in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field
  • Proficiency in English (both oral and written)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong research and analytical skills
