Purpose of the Role:

We're seeking an inspirational Deputy Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership, you'll play a crucial role in driving store performance and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Experience: You'll be responsible for creating an outstanding in-store experience by putting the customer at the forefront of all you do. This includes greeting, listening, and offering individualized advice to customers.
  • Productivity: You'll support the Store Manager in driving high productivity by creating an environment where the team strives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Team Development: You'll lead and develop the team, conducting regular coaching and feedback sessions to cultivate a high-performance culture.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: You'll utilize sales and customer data to inform your decisions, ensuring every interaction enhances our collective success and customer satisfaction.
  • Operational Excellence: You'll maintain and participate in an environment of management review, discussing, analyzing, agreeing, and implementing plans for all commercial and operational initiatives.
  • People Processes: You'll actively follow our people processes and support the colleague lifecycle from recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and absence management in collaboration with the People Team.
  • Recruitment: You'll be proactive in recruiting Sales Associates and collaborate with the People Team for recruitment of Key Holders and Team Leaders.
  • Seasonal Cycles: You'll oversee key seasonal cycles to align processes with market demands, ensuring operational responsiveness and continuity.
  • Visual Merchandising: You'll deliver and maintain the highest possible level of visual merchandising standards, both sartorial and commercial, recognizing this as integral to the customer experience.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Technical Skills: Experience in retail operations and customer service, knowledge of global fashion trends, and inclusive tailoring.
  • Data Analytics: Knowledge of data analytics, leveraging sales and performance insights to drive store success, improve customer experiences, and support continuous excellence.
  • Visual Display: Experience in creating diverse and brand-aligned visual displays.
  • Retail Business Growth: Understanding of retail business growth strategies.
