We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Director to lead our Modality Platform Technologies (MPT) group at GlaxoSmithKline. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the creation and execution of our strategic objectives, and for managing a team of UK-based scientists, including their personal development.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leadership, with experience in motivating and driving high levels of performance from individuals and teams. You will also have a deep understanding of the latest advancements in chemistry and technologies aligned to the group remit, and be able to evaluate their potential applications for the discovery of therapeutics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and enable novel platform modality technologies that will accelerate the delivery of our medicines portfolio.
