At WSP, we're committed to making a positive impact on the world. As an Associate Director Ecologist, you'll play a key role in shaping our ecological services and helping our clients achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of ecologists to deliver high-quality ecological services to our clients.
  • Develop and implement ecological strategies to support our clients' projects.
  • Collaborate with our clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Manage and oversee the delivery of ecological projects, ensuring they're completed on time and within budget.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members to help them develop their skills and expertise.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in ecological consulting, with a strong understanding of UK habitats and protected species.
  • Experience in managing and delivering ecological projects, including survey and mitigation work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex ecological challenges.
  • Chartered Ecologist (CIEEM) or equivalent qualification.
