About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team on a part-time, on-call basis. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will provide support and guidance to our staff and students in managing challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-call support to staff and students in managing challenging behaviour
  • Develop and implement behaviour support plans to promote positive behaviour
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop strategies for supporting students with behaviour needs
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans to mitigate potential risks
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on behaviour management and support strategies
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in behaviour support or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques
