About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Nurse to join our team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 7 Emergency Nurse, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Emergency Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Emergency Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and care
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to junior staff members
- Contribute to the development of the Emergency Department's strategic plan
Requirements
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife
- Post-registration experience within the specialty at a senior level
- Evidence of professional/specialist clinical and managerial expertise and knowledge acquired through CPD and experience
- Evidence of leadership, management, and team development at clinical level
- Evidence of involvement and leadership in teaching and mentoring learners
