About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Information Assurance Security Lead to join our Cyber and Information Resilience (C&IR) team at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our cyber security and information resilience efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cyber assurance strategies to align with our C&IR framework
  • Oversee the monitoring and implementation of preventive measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Manage the delivery of key workstreams, including third-party risk assessment, post-incident review, threat and vulnerability assessments, and security assessments
  • Enhance third-party cyber risk monitoring and service-driven assessments using analytical and qualitative methods
  • Ensure adequate monitoring capabilities for our supply chain are delivered via new tooling and aligned to cyber risk metrics
  • Assure and report on cyber threats and security vulnerabilities impacting our supply chain performance
  • Guide and manage an operational team with technical expertise, fostering Agile practices to build a high-performing cross-functional team
