Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Director: Asset Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR professional to join our team as Assistant Director: Asset Management. As a key member of our corporate management team, you will play a high-profile role in shaping our HR services and contributing to our strategic and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of HR services across our 1,800-strong workforce, including people-related functions, associate services, and pension scheme management.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with our Corporate Strategy and People Plan.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, including the Director of Resources and other members of the corporate management team.
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to support business decisions and drive organizational change.
  • Manage a high-calibre People Services team of 50 staff, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to deliver exceptional HR services.

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualification (Chartered CIPD) and deep HR expertise.
  • Ability to shape policy and strategy, develop and lead high-performing teams, and make a major corporate contribution to a national regulator.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills, with excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Politically astute and able to navigate complex organizational dynamics.
  • Strategic vision and determination to drive change and achieve results.
