About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pastoral Manager to join our team at Tewkesbury Academy, part of the Cabot Learning Federation. As a Pastoral Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal development of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to students, staff, and parents to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote student wellbeing, behaviour, and attendance.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and other stakeholders to identify and address student needs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to student wellbeing and behaviour.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of student support initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a pastoral or educational setting, with a focus on student wellbeing and behaviour.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of child protection policies and procedures, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
