Conference and Events Floor Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conference and Events Floor Manager to join our team at The Langham, London. As a key member of our Conference and Events team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of conferences, events, and banquets, providing exceptional service to our guests and exceeding their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise conferences, events, and banquets, ensuring that all aspects of the event are executed to the highest standard.
  • Lead and motivate a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional service and ensure that all guests have a memorable experience.
  • Collaborate with the Conference and Events team to plan and coordinate events, ensuring that all logistical and operational aspects are covered.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of service and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Monitor and control event budgets, ensuring that all expenses are within approved limits.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar 5-star environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong interest in food and beverage, with knowledge of wine, spirits, and other beverages.
  • Flair, passion, and a conscientious attitude, with the ability to think outside the box and surprise and delight our guests.
  • Confidence, professionalism, and engaging personality, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear conversational English language, with knowledge of foreign languages beneficial.
