Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Manager to join our team at Turner Wise Ltd. As a key member of our senior management team, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial strategy and operations of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial aspects of client accounting, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Provide support to business managers and manage the day-to-day tasks for the finance and lettings accounts team.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial management.
  • Collaborate with bookkeepers and external accountants to ensure all statutory obligations are met.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly management reports, including financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Review and process supplier payment runs, bank accounts, and cash flow.
  • Handle management accounts review data, including financial reporting and analysis.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the PS team and provide updates on the running of the department.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the property sector or a related industry.
  • Experience working within a similar-sized growing organization.
  • Part Qualified or Qualified ACA/ACCA or CIMA.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Office, and Xero/Sage Line 50.
  • Proficient with ReapIT or other similar letting agency software.
  • Good knowledge and experience of preparing management accounts and reports.
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of property-related accounts processes.
  • Structured, disciplined, energetic, and committed to individual and company improvement.
  • Excellent eye for attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Analytical and confident with data analysis.
  • Problem solver with the ability to take ownership and resolve issues both internally and externally.
  • Possess strong communication skills.
