Sustainability Manager

Location: Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancashire

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + Private Medical + 41 days Holiday

Are you a dedicated Sustainability Manager seeking a position within the chemical industry, where you can receive comprehensive training and professional growth? This role presents a remarkable opportunity to enhance your expertise in environmentally focused topics through personalized training and development.

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience as a Sustainability Manager or an Environmental Advisor aspiring to advance their career. We welcome applicants from various industry backgrounds.

This position is offered as an 18-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the environmental subject matter expert on-site.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies, conduct audits, and develop environmental policies.
  • Receive specialized training in industry-specific topics such as COMAH and PFAS.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experienced Environmental Advisor or Manager.
  • Proficient in implementing and maintaining Environmental Management Systems.
  • Open to candidates from diverse industry sectors.
