Fitness Manager

Everlast Gyms is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Manager to join our team. As a Fitness Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring that all operations are carried out to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Represent Everlast Gyms as an ambassador for fitness, demonstrating our elevated ways of working at all times.
- Drive all revenue lines from membership sales to product and secondary sales, to drive profitability.
- Manage controllable costs such as stock orders and cleaning supplies, to eliminate wastage and overspend.
- Lead by example on reception and the gym floor, in this member-facing role designed to enhance every visit.
- Ensure central processes such as STRIVE and MOVE are followed and delivered to the highest level consistently.
- Drive collective buy-in to national focuses and incentives such as #WORKOUTWEDNESDAY and #WeCommunicate.
- Lead the recruiting, monitoring, training, and onboarding of new team members within your gym.
- Ensure that all daily, weekly, and monthly operational processes are completed consistently and to a high standard using our in-house systems.
- Provide honest, constructive feedback regularly to support all team members in achieving their potential and challenging them on a daily basis.
- Report facilities and maintenance-related issues in accordance with best practice guidelines.
- Manage club rotas based on budgets, ensuring fully trained team members are always onsite.
- Be resilient and agile to react to challenging situations and find solutions.
- Able to effectively manage all policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, inclusive of pool plant operations.
- Ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times, whether on-shift or not.
- Possession of a Level 2 qualification in fitness (desirable).
- At least 1 year of previous management role experience within the fitness industry.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Adaptability in communication and management style, depending on the team member and their drivers.
- A positive, solutions-driven mindset in the face of adversity.
- A member champion mentality with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Driven and ambitious, with a keen desire to learn and develop both behaviours and competencies specific to the role.
- Flexibility in working hours and location to support the needs of the business, including weekends and Bank Holidays when required.
