The Credit Risk Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role that requires in-depth disciplinary knowledge and expertise in risk management. This position contributes to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflows for the area or function.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the monthly Loss Forecasting aspects of the group, ensuring accurate and timely forecasting.
- Liaise with the Finance, Collections & Risk Policy team to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Oversee analysis of Forecasting in Citi Corp with respect to Forbearance performance and reporting, and Recoveries performance and reporting.
- Analyze fraud portfolio performance at a granular level, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop detailed diagnostics on Fraud behavior, shifts in that behavior, and assess its impact on portfolio performance, supporting the forecasting process.
- Assist in the production of presentations to senior management, including the Citigroup CFO, Citi Cards CEO, Citi Cards Risk Head, Global Consumer Credit Risk Officer, and regulators.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Strong previous experience in Forecasting / Fraud / Risk Management.
- Advanced quantitative and analytic skills required.
- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
