Senior Credit Risk Analyst Opportunity

Our partner, a top FinTech in the UK, is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join their credit risk function. This role offers a great opportunity to work with a fast-growing business that provides excellent opportunities for development.

About the Company

This FinTech has established itself as a profitable business, known for its expertise in lending analytics. They offer unsecured and secured products, making them a leader in the UK market.

The Role

The Senior Credit Risk Analyst will be responsible for working on one product across the credit risk lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing analysis, development, and improvement of credit strategies
  • Collaborating with commercial and pricing strategies alongside credit risk analytics
  • Wide-scoping role involving analytics, strategy development, and some model building
  • Hands-on data analysis

Requirements

  • Experience working in sub or near prime credit risk
  • Ability to analyze data and document trends to drive insight
  • Strong commercial mindset
  • Strong SQL skills, with Python ideal
  • Experience working for a top FinTech is highly desirable
  • A strong university degree in a numerate discipline, preferably in STEM
