The Rhodes Trust is seeking an experienced Event Coordinator and Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering operational and logistical excellence in the delivery of internal Rhodes Trust programmes and external commercial Rhodes House Ltd events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver operational and logistical excellence in the delivery of internal Rhodes Trust programmes and external commercial Rhodes House Ltd events
  • Encourage cooperation across departments at Rhodes House to ensure the successful delivery of events
  • Support the development and acquisition of clients for the Rhodes House Ltd events, ensuring achievement of revenue targets
  • Operate predominantly on-site at Rhodes House, with occasional travel required

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience in event planning and operational delivery
  • Excellent team player with a positive attitude and ability to act independently
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with immediate colleagues
  • Proactive and organized with good attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent software skills, including Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and database entry

Desirable Skills and Experience
