Event Planning Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our client at a time of growth and expansion. As an Event Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, promoting, and ensuring the smooth running of events, including annual conferences and other small annual tradeshows.

Key Responsibilities

This role will involve:

  • Producing detailed proposals for events
  • Researching and sourcing venues, suppliers, and contractors, and negotiating prices
  • Coordinating suppliers and all event logistics
  • Organising guest speakers and delegate packs
  • Ensuring that insurance, legal, health and safety obligations are followed
  • Overseeing the dismantling and removal of events and clearing the venue efficiently

Requirements

  • You will be a highly organised and ambitious professional, with experience of end-to-end events/conference management.
  • You must have experience of sourcing venues and attending offsite corporate events, tradeshows or conferences
  • You will be a confident and engaging communicator, with the ability to liaise with senior clients, negotiate and influence.
  • To excel in this role, you will enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
