Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Therapeutic Radiographer to join our team at Velindre Cancer Centre. As a key member of our radiotherapy department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing radiotherapy
  • Operate and maintain complex radiotherapy equipment, including linear accelerators and CT scanners
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring accurate and effective delivery of radiation therapy
  • Provide education and training to students and junior staff members
  • Contribute to quality assurance and clinical audit initiatives to ensure continuous improvement in our services

Requirements

  • Registration with the Health Care Professions Council
  • Knowledge and understanding of radiation regulations and oncology issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
  • Desirable: ability to speak Welsh to Level 1, supervisory and mentoring skills
