Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Therapeutic Radiographer to join our team in a forward-thinking radiotherapy department. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with a large multi-disciplinary team to provide care to patients undergoing radiotherapy.
Main Duties- Work with a team of experts to deliver high-quality radiotherapy services
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new radiotherapy techniques
- Supervise and teach students in the radiotherapy department
- Work flexibly to meet the demands of the service, including weekends and extended hours
- Registration with the Health Care Professions Council
- Knowledge and understanding of principles and concepts underpinning radiotherapy
- Experience of working with radiotherapy equipment, including linear accelerators and CT scanners
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
- Ability to speak Welsh to Level 1
- Supervisory skills - radiographers and students
- Mentoring skills
