Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management
    • Directly responsible for the day-to-day operational management of our facilities and services, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and experience.
    • Lead and direct the 'front of house' service team by example, maintaining a high profile management team presence for staff, customers, and key stakeholders.
    • Allocate staffing duties, monitor performance, and ensure the highest standards of safety, service delivery, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
    • Participate in the emergency call-out rota outside of normal operating hours.
    • Maintain records to assist in the efficient operation of the centre, including timesheets, emergency systems testing, and other required documentation.
  • Financial Management
    • Responsible for cash reconciliation and banking, ensuring the stringent application of our financial policies and procedures.
    • Maintain budget area responsibility within authorized limits, contributing to the budget preparation process.
    • Contribute to the maximization of income through service standards and development.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure day-to-day operational compliance with all relevant operational procedures, Company guidelines, Acts of Parliament, Statutory Regulations, and Codes of Practice.
    • Contribute to the review of safe operating procedures, ensuring they are developed and implemented by all staff.
    • Ensure all new staff members receive an induction, and that all staff enjoy a safe and healthy work environment, with access to appropriate protective clothing.
    • Investigate and report all accidents, incidents, and dangerous occurrences.
    • Administer first aid as required.
  • Maintenance and Development
    • Ensure regular monitoring and inspections of plant, equipment, and building faults, processing maintenance works requests timeously and correctly.
    • Contribute to the monitoring of maintenance works within our facilities.
    • Represent the Company in appropriate groups, such as user groups and project teams.
    • Contribute to the review and development of facility and service programs to ensure maximum service benefit.
  • Human Resources
    • Directly responsible for the day-to-day operational supervision of all staff within our facilities, contributing to a positive staff welfare and development program.
    • Ensure the consistent application of our Human Resources policies and procedures, including Sickness Absence, Disciplinary, and other relevant policies.
    • Assist in the recruitment, selection, and induction of subordinate staff.
    • Ensure the maintenance of all required training records for operational staff.
    • Assist in the training of other Company staff as necessary.
  • Training and Development
    • Attend regular staff training sessions, both in-house and externally.
  • General
    • Ensure physical fitness to carry out duties at all times.
    • Carry out other reasonable duties as may be required.
    • Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection guidelines.
    • Undertake other related duties as may be required by the Company.
