Deputy Nursing Home Manager

Up to £22.5 hours supernumerary

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nursing Home Manager to join our team. As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Home Manager in the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the individual needs of residents.
  2. Conduct regular assessments of staff performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to support their development.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

  1. Circa 40 beds
  2. Rated at GOOD with CQC
  3. Caters for elderly residents & those living with dementia
  4. Purpose built, modern & good reputation in the community
  5. Located in the Benwell area of Newcastle Upon Tyne
  6. New management team in place

Requirements:

  1. RGN/RMN/RNLD with active PIN
  2. Proven track record of successful leadership
  3. Sound knowledge of CQC & NMC
  4. Dynamic & Enthusiastic, a great communicator
  5. Ability to lead, motivate and develop staff
