Wound Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our Wound Clinic team at DCHS Foundation Trust. As a Wound Clinic Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality wound care to patients in our community.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and review patient wound care needs, developing and implementing individualized plans to promote optimal healing and prevent complications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Wound Clinic Lead Nurses and Tissue Viability specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers on wound care and management, promoting self-care and independence.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of wound care policies and pathways, ensuring evidence-based practice and best outcomes for patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
