We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Wound Clinic team at Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality wound care to patients in our community hospitals and health centers.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and review patient wound care needs, developing and implementing individualized plans to promote optimal healing and prevent complications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Wound Clinic Lead Nurses and Tissue Viability Specialists, to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on wound care and management techniques.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of wound care policies and pathways, ensuring evidence-based practice and best outcomes for patients.
- NMC registration as a General Nurse.
- Experience working in community health settings, with a focus on wound care and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to drive and travel to clinical sites and meetings, with flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays.
