Job Purpose

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students. You will work closely with tutors and practitioners to implement effective learning strategies that enable students to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students, assisting them with academic tasks, personal development, and social integration.
  • Collaborate with tutors to deliver engaging lessons and create a positive learning experience for all students.
  • Implement individual learning plans, ensuring that each student receives tailored support to meet their unique needs.
  • Monitor student progress, providing feedback and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and valued.
Qualifications and Skills

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual with:

  • Experience working with young people, particularly those with learning difficulties or disabilities.
  • A strong commitment to student success and a passion for creating a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with students, tutors, and colleagues.
  • A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
  • A Level 2 qualification in English and Maths, as well as a relevant qualification in learning support or a related field.
