Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our National Response Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality field-based technical expertise to our customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers in the field, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of issues.
  • Conduct site visits to diagnose and repair electrical equipment, applying your technical expertise to resolve complex problems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Work closely with the National Response Team to ensure effective communication and coordination of field-based activities.

Requirements:

  • Good technical electrical/electronics skills, with a minimum HNC or similar qualification in electromechanical/electrical engineering.
  • Experience in a field service role, with a strong understanding of customer service principles, including commissioning, repairs, and servicing.
  • PLC programming and knowledge of PC hardware are advantageous.
  • Good PC literacy and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • A full current UK driving license is essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
