**Job Summary**

On Line Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Mechanical and Piping to lead our Mechanical and Piping Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the department's operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects, and driving business growth.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement departmental strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Lead and manage a team of mechanical and piping engineers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication
  • Monitor and control project costs, schedules, and resources to ensure optimal utilization
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the department remains competitive and innovative
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects and departmental operations
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve departmental efficiency and effectiveness

**Requirements**

  • Minimum 10-15 years of post-graduate training and experience in mechanical and piping engineering
  • Chartered with IMechE with a design engineering bias
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and piping systems, including design, installation, and maintenance
  • Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations, including ASME B31.3/4, BS EN 13480, PED/PER
