  • Develop and implement departmental strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Lead and manage a team of mechanical and piping engineers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication
  • Monitor and control project costs, schedules, and resources to ensure optimal utilization
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects to ensure business continuity
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve departmental efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the department remains competitive and innovative

**Requirements**

  • Minimum 10-15 years of post-graduate training and experience in mechanical and piping engineering
  • Chartered with IMechE with a design engineering bias
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
