Senior Legal Counsel

**Job Summary**

We are partnering with a global company based in Birmingham to hire a Senior Legal Counsel to join their legal team. As a key member of the team, you will provide expert legal advice and strategic guidance to the business across multiple jurisdictions.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide proactive, business-oriented legal advice to senior management and various business units on a wide range of legal issues, including corporate governance, commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and litigation.
* Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, including service agreements, professional service agreements, software, and SAAS.
* Identify and assess legal risks, develop strategies to mitigate those risks, and ensure that the company's operations comply with applicable laws and regulations.
* Oversee simple litigation matters, including working with external counsel where required.

**Requirements**

* UK Qualified Solicitor with experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts.
* Strong negotiation and contract drafting skills.
