Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Teaching Assistant to join our team at a special needs school in Grantham. As a Healthcare Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, working closely with the class teacher and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Support students with special educational needs in a one-to-one setting, promoting social and cognitive development.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
- Assist with lesson planning and preparation, ensuring that students receive a high-quality education.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students, helping them to build confidence and self-esteem.
- Work collaboratively with the senior leadership team to ensure that the school's values and policies are upheld.
- Experience working in the care sector, preferably in a special needs setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of students.
- Knowledge of special educational needs and the ability to implement individualized learning plans.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students, with a strong understanding of child protection policies and procedures.
