Position Overview

We are excited to introduce our innovative Trainee Shift Manager Academy, designed as part of a broader strategic initiative to enhance our depot network. We are in search of resilient, dynamic, and enthusiastic individuals who exhibit leadership potential to help drive our business forward.

As a participant in the Trainee Shift Manager Academy, you will engage in a comprehensive 12-month development program, honing your management skills within a fast-paced delivery environment. This includes two-month rotations across various operational segments, such as AM (nights), PM (afternoons), and Dispatch (mornings) within your designated depot.

You will receive extensive support through a detailed induction program and comprehensive training, gaining insights into all facets of managing a successful parcel delivery operation. This encompasses people management, logistical planning, transport regulations, security, human resources, and health and safety within a 24/7 operational framework. This role presents a remarkable opportunity for genuine professional growth and career advancement.

Upon successful completion of the 12-month Trainee Shift Manager Academy, you will transition into a Shift Manager position, where you can apply and further develop the skills and knowledge acquired during your training.

Candidate Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Level 4 (Grade C) in Mathematics and English.
  • A valid UK driving license.

  • Demonstrate flexibility to meet the demands of a high-volume role.
