With a team of sector specialists and a strong presence in the UK and Europe, we provide professional brokerage and advisory services to clients across the industry.

Job Purpose

The Associate Director - Hospitality Valuations will provide valuation services across the hospitality sector, providing advice and valuations on businesses and going concern properties primarily across the UK. This role will involve working closely with major clients, banks, investors, accountants, and operators to build strong relationships and deliver high-quality valuation services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough valuations of properties and trading businesses, including surveying and inspecting to determine value.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, bankers, and investors to generate business and deliver valuation services.
  • Prepare detailed valuation reports and provide expert advice to clients.
  • Work to and achieve targets, including revenue and profit targets.
  • Develop and liaise with key contacts, including solicitors, accountants, and other professional bodies.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments in the hospitality sector.
  • Cross-sell Group companies and develop new business opportunities.
  • Deal with clients in a timely and appropriate fashion, providing excellent customer service.
  • Build internal and external relationships to support business growth and development.

Requirements

  • Relevant Real Estate Degree and RICS Chartered Status.
  • A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a similar role.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills and excellent working knowledge of office software.
  • Knowledge of trade sector and current market trends.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations and the Estate Agents Act.
  • Report preparation skills.
