About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Delivery Station Customer Service Associate to join our team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their packages on time and with a smile.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our customers in person, via phone, and via email
  • Empathize with and prioritize customer needs to deliver a seamless experience
  • Uphold Amazon's values and respect every customer interaction
  • Resolve issues and set appropriate expectations with customers
  • Clearly understand and respond to customer issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Compose grammatically correct, concise, and accurate written responses to customer issues
  • Approach problems logically and with good judgment to ensure the best customer outcome
  • Make quick and effective decisions on behalf of the customer
Working at Amazon

As a Delivery Station Customer Service Associate, you will be based at one of our last-mile delivery warehouses, where Amazon's leading logistics system operates. You will be in contact with our warehouse, associates, delivery partners, and customers when they need guidance. You will inform our delivery partners of any changes to delivery schedules and work to resolve any delivery issues that may arise.

Requirements
  • High School or equivalent diploma
  • Previous experience in customer service
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work time to ensure efficiency
  • Experience with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Outlook
  • Familiarity with multiple web browsers, data base searching, and instant messenger tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work-related experience
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills for the language required for the position
  • Experience in understanding performance metrics and developing them to measure progress against key performance indicators
  • Experience working on a merchandising/brand ambassador team for a nationally recognized consumer brand
