About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at First Call Contract Services. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion in the Midlands and Northern regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, including independent builders' merchants and landscape companies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including arranging and attending business-to-business sales meetings.
  • Manage a daily, weekly, and monthly sales pipeline and diary to ensure effective sales and marketing activities.
  • Attend regular service meetings with current clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Visit customers to promote our product range, stock levels, and outdoor porcelain designs, and secure and process orders from customers.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with new and existing customers to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Actively target key B2B customers, independent builders' merchants, and landscape companies to expand our customer base.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the construction or trade industry.
  • Strong understanding of the consumer construction industry, including paving and outdoor flooring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
  • Basic starting salary is DOE, with industry-leading packages available, including excellent OTEs and a car allowance option, and company benefits.
