About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled nurse leader to join our team as a Lead Nurse for Rehabilitation and Recovery Services at Swansea Bay University Health Board.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional leadership and guidance to ward/unit and team managers across the Rehabilitation and Recovery Directorate.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based nursing care and infection prevention standards within defined areas of responsibility.
  • Develop and implement quality strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centered approaches to care.
  • Support the development of staff and services to meet the needs of patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse Level 1 (Active NMC Registration)
  • Recognised management qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • Educated to Degree level
  • Masters in relevant health-related field
  • Improving Quality Together (IQT Bronze) certification
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Improving Quality Together (IQT Silver) certification
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding Adults/Children, including the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act
  • Experience of staff and service management
  • Experience of budgetary management
  • Experience of managing change
