Job Title: Test Engineer - LV Switchgear Specialist

Actemium, part of the VINCI Energies Group, is seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team. As a specialist in LV Switchgear, you will be responsible for testing and documenting a range of LV Switchgear panels and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test and document LV Switchgear panels and components
  • Host factory acceptance tests with clients and diagnose any issues
  • Assist with engineering, commissioning, and building of panels
  • Maintain safe working practices and adhere to quality control and safety procedures
  • Travel to sites to diagnose and fix issues with panels
  • Develop and maintain good customer relationships
  • Accurately read and interpret electrical drawings and instructions
  • Carry out testing and inspection on finished Switchgear panels
  • Adhere to and improve quality control processes and test procedures
  • Support installation at customer sites as required
Requirements:
  • NVQ level 3 in Electrical engineering or several years of experience in LV Switchgear
  • Preference given to candidates with experience in LV Switchgear testing
  • Qualified Electrician with a current ECS card
  • Driving Licence
  • Positive attitude with good attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills
  • Ability to work productively and efficiently on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communications skills
