**About the Role**
Twyver, a specialist Switchgear and Critical Power Solutions provider with over 80 years of experience and part of the VINCI Energies Group, is seeking a Contract Engineer to join their team. As a Contract Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering projects from start to finish, working closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assume overall responsibility for project delivery, ensuring financial performance, deadline compliance, and technical performance.
- Determine projected cost estimates and provide reports to the Business Unit General Manager, proposing solutions to resolve discrepancies with the budget.
- Verify and validate sales orders before acknowledging receipts.
- Ensure Quarterly Account Closing of projects are properly carried out and forecast estimates are duly performed.
- Manage procurement and purchases for projects.
- Develop and manage key customer relationships through regular reviews of contract performance, understanding and managing needs and gaps.
- Seek opportunities for business growth within and outside the existing contract base.
- Good understanding of LV Switchgear design and manufacture is required.
- Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Electrical engineering or equivalent technical discipline is ideal.
- Ability to attend site, discuss projects with clients, and provide quotations on requirements.
- Good understanding of commercial issues affecting project performance and experience in assessing value/evaluating variations of works undertaken.
- Ability to deliver projects and possess organizational skills required to do so to demanding deadlines.
