Solar Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Solar Field Service Technician to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our operations and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our solar plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take primary responsibility for solar plant performance and maintenance.
  • Perform pre-planned and reactive maintenance works across our solar farms, including electrical maintenance and solar panel cleaning.
  • Effectively resolve work tickets and report issues to your line manager.
  • Liaise with internal and external teams, including in-house personnel and external subcontractors.
  • Provide mentoring and training to junior technicians.
  • Participate in the company's on-call rota for non-working hours.
Requirements:
  • Experience in industrial or utility scale solar is preferred, but an industrial electrician background is also of interest.
  • A City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Engineering, Installation, Testing & Inspection or similar, electrical course.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential due to the remote nature of the sites.
