Senior Broker Job Opportunity

Our client, a leading insurance company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Broker to join their New Business team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and quoting new business, achieving monthly targets, and building strong relationships with clients and insurers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business from leads generated by the marketing team.
  • Achieve a monthly new business target.
  • Work closely with the renewals team to manage a smooth handover post-placement.
  • Develop close working relationships with the panel of insurers.
  • Cross-sell products according to the demands and needs of clients.
  • Assist the Directors and other staff members as requested.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of Insurance, including Combined Liability, Contractors All Risks, Professional Indemnity, and Motor Fleet.
  • Proficient in Acturis.
  • Excellent written and telephone communication skills.
  • Proven track record for meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
About the Role:

This is a permanent role based in Southend, Essex, with a salary between £40,000 to £50,000 (subject to experience) and a target-driven bonus scheme. The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive work environment with a great opportunity to join a growing organisation with lots of training and development opportunities.
