Job Title: Deputy Director of Transformation

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Transformation Unit as a Deputy Director of Transformation. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the implementation of the New Hospital Programme and new Digital Clinical System across our organization.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the workforce changes deliver the expected benefits, while consulting and engaging with the affected staff during the transition of both major projects. This will involve working closely with the Head of Workforce Transformation, the wider Transformation team, and the senior People and OD teams to support the delivery of the Transformation strategy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead on the implementation of the New Hospital Programme and new Digital Clinical System, ensuring that the workforce changes deliver the expected benefits.
  • Consult and engage with affected staff during the transition of both major projects, ensuring that their concerns and needs are addressed.
  • Work closely with the Head of Workforce Transformation, the wider Transformation team, and the senior People and OD teams to support the delivery of the Transformation strategy.
  • Develop and implement change management plans to support the successful transition of both major projects.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Transformation team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver the Transformation strategy.
Requirements
  • MCIPD qualified or equivalent proven HR skills and experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Significant experience of workforce engagement within the NHS.
  • Highly developed specialist knowledge of change management, achieved through significant experience within relevant roles.
  • Substantial recent management experience as a generalist HR practitioner/business partner at a senior level.
