About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Podiatrist to join our team as a Band 6 Community Podiatrist. As a key member of our Clinical Service Unit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality podiatric care to our patients in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a clinical specialist for podiatric biomechanics, leading on and educating colleagues and junior staff on biomechanical and musculoskeletal interventions, theories, and treatment plans.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of colleagues and junior staff.
  • Contribute to the development of new models of care and service improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements
  • Current AHP registration with the UK HCPC.
  • Evidence of continuing professional education and training at degree level.
  • Certification in local anaesthesia.
  • Evidence of postgraduate continued development in biomechanics and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Postgraduate courses or education in biomechanics or musculoskeletal conditions.
