Jupiter Recruitment is proud to present this exciting opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse Deputy Manager to join a leading healthcare provider in the Ledbury area.

The Role

This unique care hub offers a comprehensive range of services, including a Nursing Home, ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) Unit, and ICU (Intermediate Care Unit). The nursing home holds a 'Good' CQC rating and is actively striving for an 'Outstanding' status.

Your Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to provide exceptional leadership to staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care within a safe and supportive environment.
  • Lead nursing teams in providing person-centered care that promotes dignity, privacy, safety, independence, equality, and diversity for all residents and staff.
  • Support the Service Manager in managing resources effectively, including those impacting financial performance, and maintaining high occupancy levels.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Oversee the smooth operation of the transitional unit within the home and liaise with external healthcare professionals.
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision within the service.
  • Take full responsibility for implementing and auditing infection control protocols throughout the facility.
Desired Skills & Experience

While a Registered Nurse qualification with an active NMC Pin is essential, the following skills and experience would be highly advantageous:

  • Previous experience as a Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse.
  • A comprehensive understanding of person-centered care principles.
  • Proven ability to work closely with residents, assess their needs, and develop personalized care plans that enhance their quality of life.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting elderly service users, particularly those with dementia.
