Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Service Manager in providing leadership to staff to deliver high-quality care and services.
- Coordinate and lead the nursing team to provide person-centered care and support that promotes dignity, privacy, safety, and independence.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements at all times.
- Monitor and maintain standards of nursing and care provision within the service.
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision within the service.
- Implement and audit infection control measures throughout the service.
- Manage the nursing unit effectively, ensuring smooth admissions and discharges.
- Supervise and appraise staff, ensuring high standards of performance are achieved.
- Manage complaints and suggestions, ensuring positive action is taken within prescribed timescales.
Requirements:
- Nurse Qualified with a valid NMC Pin.
- Strong knowledge of person-centered care.
- Ability to work closely with residents, assessing their needs and delivering care plans that promote their well-being.
