About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Archive Data Specialist to join our Heritage and Archive team in the Creative Engagement department on a part-time, 6 month fixed term basis.

The Southbank Centre Archive is a vast collection of documents, photos, objects, recordings, and born-digital material that tells the story of the Southbank Centre since its inception in 1951. The collection continues to grow, with a significant portion being digital.

The Archive Data Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the creation and launch of a new Archive Catalogue, Access to Memory (AtoM). Working closely with a cataloguing archivist and our IT team, the role offers a chance to aid in organizing, describing, and making accessible a large, mixed collection.
