Compensation: £65,000 - £80,000 + bonus + additional benefits

Sea Global is excited to collaborate with a remarkable global organization in the retail sector. With a presence in over 35 countries, their procurement operations are centralized in London. Due to recent substantial growth, a new opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Category Manager, with a focus on Marketing and Media Services.

This role reports directly to the Head of Category, who is seeking a proactive individual ready to contribute effectively from the outset. Below are further details regarding the responsibilities and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Category to ascertain business requirements.
  • Lead comprehensive strategic sourcing initiatives, including vendor management.
  • Develop and execute category strategies, alongside sub-category plans.
  • Oversee commercial supplier relationships, with an emphasis on Contract Management, Risk, KPIs & SLAs.
  • Foster relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, engaging with various suppliers and internal clients.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in Marketing procurement is crucial for this position; candidates with a background in large marketing projects will also be considered.
  • International project experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Comprehensive end-to-end procurement experience and the ability to work independently are desirable.
  • CIPS certification and/or a degree are beneficial but not essential.
